Our story...

Liberty Ranch is a family owned/operated RV & Cabin Campground. With our two young sons, we have worked to develop our dream, & your home away from home.

In 2020, in light of the widespread unconstitutional restrictions & mandates, our family was faced with the harsh reality of the loss of Tom’s 25-year Aviation career, everything that we had worked our lifetime to achieve, or concede our deepest principles of individual liberty.

At every turn we faced what seemed to be overwhelming hurdles in defense of our family’s personal freedoms. We spent the better part of a year pushing back against tyrannical overreach, developing community organizations, homeschooling our children, hosting holiday & neighborhood events, and even a campaign for public office. When it became glaringly apparent that we could no longer reside in a State that fully embraced restricting freedoms, or work in a career field that so easily bowed to government mandates, we set out in search of like-minded communities, small towns that still embrace liberty, personal responsibility, and a chance to raise our children with the freedoms that so many have sacrificed to protect.

Blessed with the opportunity, Jen set out on a two-week road trip with our oldest son through 3 states, speaking with locals, visiting schools, and searching for properties that we could potentially develop for supplemental income & continue raising our children with honor and integrity. We finally found this in the small town of Basin, Wyoming. A property bordering the edge of town, as well as open space & the potential to develop our campground. In July of 2021 we moved & immediately started our new adventure. The last year has been a whirlwind journey, starting a new career mid-life, getting our children back into public school/sports, reviving a small ranch with steers/chickens, while simultaneously getting to know our new community & developing our campground inch by inch.

Whether hunting the Big Horns, vacationing in Yellowstone, or just traveling Wyoming, we would be honored to share our dream with you.

In Liberty,

Tom & Jen
